Why do I need to log in to my broker every day?

Under the exchange rules for retail algo trading, every broker API session is logged out each day before the next trading day begins. So each broker asks you to log in again, or generate a new token, before you trade. It is not a Tradetron limit.

How does the daily token work for Finvasia?

Each trading day, click Generate Token on Broker & Exchanges and approve the login on Shoonya's own page. Tradetron's Finvasia V4 form asks only for your User ID, App Key and Secret Key, not your password or TOTP.
