Important Rules for Algo Trading on Tradetron

Daily Morning Check (9:00 AM):

1. Verify successful API token renewalon the Tradetron Broker and Exchange page.
   • If necessary, regenerate the token and complete the authorization process.
2. Ensure sufficient funds are available in your broker account.
3. Confirm that all live deployed algorithms are set to active mode.

Entry and Exit Guidelines:

• Use Live Auto Mode Only: Avoid using Live Auto One-Click to maintain alignment with P&L records.
• Position Exits: Always exit positions via Tradetron unless there are technical issues (e.g., platform errors).
• Avoid Market Hours Start: Deploy algorithms either before or after market hours for consistent entries.

Getting Started:

1. Paper Trade First: Begin by running all strategies in paper trading mode to familiarize yourself with their performance.
2. Transition to Live Trading: Account for slippages in live trading, as they are not factored into paper trade results. Conduct a few days of live offline trading before moving to live auto trading.
3. Broker Choice: Use a broker integrated with Tradetron. Confirm API and brokerage fee details with your broker.
