Strategy Description:

Chakrika is a DIRECTIONAL Option selling strategy. It sells weekly Index options of Nifty during trading days. On Expiry Day, it switches to selling next week expiry options. This strategy uses option behavior and price action to guesstimate (market is all about uncertainty, so we can only guess) market direction and accordingly create positions. 

On any given day it will take maximum 2 trades (one in CE & another in PE). Total quantity/lots will be calculated & decided by strategy based on RISK on any particular Trade.

Strategy is designed to keep the RISK for a Trade within 1% of the strategy capital in general market conditions, however sometimes (when premiums are very high or volatility is very high or sudden spike or gamma moves), the RISK per trade might exceed up to 2% of the strategy capital.

RISK IS INTEGRAL PART of Trading & every trade has potential to convert into LOSS. As a TRADER, we must CONTROL OUR LOSS on loosing trades, and ride the winning trades.

Strategy prepares itself for the worst and strictly follows risk management principles. It has in built risk management & position sizing logic, hence based on risk calculation strategy will decide the number of lots it wants to trade in, by keeping risk maximum up to 2% of strategy capital / Trade. Higher the risk, lesser will be the position size.

REMEMBER: SL & Targets depends on individual’s risk appetite. Best SL & best target is always as per individual’s emotion. When you start feeling uncomfortable with the loss on screen, that is your SL and when you start feeling fear of losing the profit on screen, that is your target.

What to Do once you put it in Live Auto

1. Be Patient. Allow the strategy to work.
2. Recommended Multiplier is 1x. Get your eyes and mind comfortable with the SLs in max 1 multiplier by running it for few months.
3. Strategy is designed to RIDE the TREND; hence our recommendation will be NOT TO MANULLY INTERUPT the strategy when it is in any Trade.
4. You can however exit the strategy if you like the profits you have made (but DO NOT reactive it on same day). 
5. Monitor your deployment for any “Error” and FIX them whenever they occur
