This strategy, designed for intraday momentum trading using options selling, is currently deactivated. A new version focusing on monthly options is under development.
Strategy Description
This intraday momentum-based strategy reacts quickly to market movements. It takes positions in NIFTY (2 lots), BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY, and MDCPNIFTY, making up to two attempts per index each day to identify trading opportunities.
Strategy Details
- Entry Time: After 9:20 AM
- Exit Time: After 3:00 PM
- Active Days: All weekdays
- Capital Requirement: ₹6,00,000
- Trades Per Day: Approximately 10
Error Management in Live Deployment
Handling Execution Issues:
If issues occur during live deployment, you will see the "Error Execution - Manage" option on the Tradetron page. You can:- Try Again: Resolve the issue and retry.
- Cancel: Exit the strategy for the day.
- Completed Manually: Mark it manually completed and move on.
End-of-Day Scenarios:
- If no action is taken post-error and the market closes, the broker system (using MIS order type) will automatically square off all open positions.
- Before the next trading day, delete and redeploy the strategy or select "Completed Manually" and reactivate.
Note
This is an intraday strategy, and occasional execution errors will not significantly impact its overall functionality.
