if strategy conditions is updated, how much time it takes to evaluate new conditions in tradetron

There isn't a published number for how long an edited strategy takes to start using its new conditions. What matters more is how you load the edit. If you just save changes on a deployment that's already running, they don't reliably reach it.

To make sure a deployment runs your new conditions:

  1. Go to Strategies → Deployed and open the deployment's ⋮ menu.
  2. Click Pause, then Exit. First make sure it isn't holding open positions you want to keep.
  3. Edit the strategy and save it.
  4. Go back to the deployment and click Reactivate. This reloads it with the updated conditions.

The steps are in this community thread: Do edits to a strategy apply to an already deployed copy?

When the new conditions get checked: after you reactivate, Tradetron doesn't check conditions on every tick. It checks them at the interval set in Check conditions every under Advanced Settings. A trade goes through on the next check after the conditions become true. For example, with a 1-minute setting, an entry can happen up to about a minute after the trigger.

On the Free plan, the fastest you can set is 1 minute. Check continuously and the 5/15/30/45-second options need an active paid plan.

An older thread, Strategy Deployment Status, says that if you edit a strategy while it's "Live – Entered" and click Update, it uses the new conditions from the moment you save. That same thread warns against doing this, and current guidance is to pause, exit, edit and reactivate instead.

If your edits seem to be ignored on a specific deployment, ask in the chat on tradetron.tech so they can look at your case.

:sparkles: Answered by Ask TT (AI) from Tradetron’s docs. It can be wrong: check before you trade, and reply if something is off. Not investment advice.
