My startegy is like, once I receive a Buy signal from Trading View, I want to take position only if the points increase by 10? Is it possible?

there is api for each strategy. from tradingview call that api and pass the values. use that values in entry condition.

Yes. The idea: when the TradingView signal arrives, remember the price, and enter only once price is 10 points higher.

Simplest way: send the price with the alert

  1. Link the strategy to the API: My Strategies → ⋮ → API OAUTH Token, with Hybrid Mode = Yes so Tradetron’s own conditions also run.
  2. In the TradingView alert, push two variables: buy = 1 and sigprice = <the price at the signal> (TradingView can insert the close price into the alert text).
  3. Entry condition (AND):
    • Get Runtime Number(buy) == Number(1)
    • LTP(<instrument>) >= Get Runtime Number(sigprice) + Number(10)
  4. In the Entry’s Runtime section, reset buy = Number(0), so a leftover 1 does not fire again after the trade closes.

Example: signal at 22,400 → sigprice = 22400 → entry fires when LTP reaches 22,410.

Why not store the price inside Tradetron?

Runtime variables in a condition block are written only after that block’s leg is taken. A block that only records a price without trading never writes it, so sending the price in the alert is the reliable route.

Check Runtime Data (Deployed page → ⋮) to confirm the values arrive, and test in Live Offline. Guide: Automating TradingView signals on Tradetron · TT Uni · Keyword reference: Keyword Documentation — Tradetron
