Can i create & backtest a strategy which have the CCI, MFI & Williams % R indicators?

I can't confirm from my sources whether CCI, MFI and Williams %R are available as ready-made indicators, or how backtesting works. Here's what I can tell you about building a strategy that uses indicators.

Which builder to use: Use the Advanced Strategy Builder. The Advanced Wizard only builds F&O strategies, and indicators or custom conditions need the Advanced Strategy Builder.

Steps:

1. Check the indicators exist. The keyword docs list every keyword you can use in conditions: Keyword Documentation — Tradetron. Search there for CCI, MFI and Williams %R. I can't tell you their exact keyword names because I haven't seen them in my sources.
2. Open the builder at Algo strategy builder, no code | Tradetron Strategy Builder and enter a strategy name. Tags and a description are optional.
3. Add at least one set. Give it instruments, entry conditions (where the indicator keywords go), positions and an exit.
4. If an indicator isn't in the keyword docs, the builder has a Python code section for logic that keywords can't express.
5. Adjust Advanced Settings if needed: order pricing, tranching, trailing stop-loss and how often conditions are checked. Then click Create.
6. Find it in My Strategies (Sign in - Tradetron). Deploying is a separate step, and it's best to test in Live Offline first.

Backtesting: My sources don't explain how to backtest a strategy built with these indicators. Please ask the team in the chat on tradetron.tech.

Other options:

• Pine Script Strategy: if you already have these indicators in a TradingView script, go to Create → Pine Script Strategy. The last step gives you the alert details to add in TradingView.
• Using AI: Create → Using AI opens Build with AI. You can have Tradetron's AI or a quant build the strategy at the flat price shown there, or connect your own AI over MCP for free.
