What is a counter?

Deployed strategies 2 views

A counter is the run number of a deployment. It goes up by one each time the strategy enters, exits and starts again.

  • The first time the strategy enters and exits, that run is counter 1.
  • After it exits, it can be reactivated manually or automatically, depending on the Reactivate on exit setting.
    • Never: an exited strategy is not reactivated.
    • 2 minutes: it reactivates 2 minutes after exit and, if the entry condition is true, takes new trades. That run is counter 2, and so on.

On the Deployed page, the Counter dropdown on each card shows the P&L of every run plus an All total.

Note: Reactivate is for a deployment that has exited. A paused deployment is started again with Resume.
