TradingView alerts can trigger trades on Tradetron. TradingView sends a webhook with a JSON message that carries your strategy’s auth token.
Setup in short
- In Tradetron go to My Strategies, click the three dots on your strategy, choose API OAuth, set Hybrid Mode as needed, and click Link. This gives you the auth token. The token works for that one strategy only and changes if you unlink and relink.
- In your TradingView alert, set the webhook URL to:
https://api.tradetron.tech/api?(keep the?at the end). - Put the signal in the alert message, for example:

Start withkey/value, thenkey1/value1,key2/value2and so on.

Can I use TradingView indicators and strategies?
Yes. Built-in indicators and custom strategies both work. Set an alert on any condition and send it by webhook. The steps are the same.
Can I use Pine Script?
Yes, through alerts. Pine Script does not run on Tradetron itself; only its alerts come in through the webhook. To run the logic on Tradetron, rebuild it in the condition builder or Python.
Hybrid Mode
With API signals, Tradetron does not check your conditions by default. Set Hybrid Mode = Yes if you also want Tradetron to run your target and stop loss exits.
QTY vs LOTS
GET RUNTIME in an Fx formula only works when the position builder is set to QTY. It does not work with LOTS or VALUE.
Good to know
- Chartink is not supported as a signal source.
- A received signal stays set until a Universal Exit. If your strategy loops, reset the signal runtime variable to 0 at entry and at exit.
- Webhooks are limited to 3 per second, 30 per minute and 250 per hour.
