Important: the weekly expiry schedule has changed
The original version of this article listed a different index expiring each weekday (Midcap Nifty/Bankex, Finnifty, Bank Nifty, Nifty, Sensex). That schedule no longer applies. Today, weekly expiry exists only for NIFTY 50 and SENSEX. All other index underlyings have monthly expiry only.
So an “every day expiry” strategy is no longer possible on Indian indices. You can still use the same technique on the NIFTY and SENSEX weekly expiries, using Current Week Expiry with offset 0 for the current week.
