Can I make a public strategy private?

Yes, as long as the strategy has no active subscribers and no subscriber deployments. Even one subscriber blocks the change.

Steps

1. Remove existing subscribers: on My Strategies, open Manage Subscribers from the strategy’s right-side menu, select the subscribers and click Unsubscribe.
   • Unsubscribing refunds the full fee of their last subscription, so a paid strategy needs enough ledger balance.
   • A subscriber with an open position cannot be removed until it is closed.
2. On My Strategies, click Edit Template for the strategy.
3. Go to Marketplace Settings, set Public to No, and update the template.

Once private, the strategy leaves the marketplace and takes no new subscribers.
