After you submit a backtest, it moves through these stages in order:
- In Queue: waiting to start. This is normal.
- % Completed: the backtest is running.
- Generating Report: the run is done and the detailed report is being prepared. This is also normal.
- Completed: the report is emailed to you and you can download it from the Backtest page.
Completed backtests move to the Completed section.
How long does it take?
It depends on how complex the strategy is, the candle frequency and the date range.
If it looks stuck
If a backtest stays in In Queue or Generating Report for more than 12 hours, click the BID button on the Backtest page and share that Backtest ID with support through chat on tradetron.tech.
