Midcap Nifty is supported. It is listed under a different name, so search for that name.
Select the instrument
- In the Strategy builder, open the Instrument Name field on the condition or position leg.
- Select Nifty Midselect (spot) (exchange NFO, index futures and options).
- Leave the expiry blank to check conditions on the spot chart. Pick the current month expiry to check conditions on the Futures chart.
Strikes and lot size
- Do not hardcode a lot size or strike gap. Both change when the exchange revises them.
- Read the current lot size with the Lot Size keyword.
- Pick strikes in Strike Fx with ATM SPOT (spot based) or ATM (futures based), using the “ATM +/- n Step(s)” offset to go ITM or OTM. Each step moves one strike.
