This is a bearish directional intraday strategy for Nifty weekly options, designed to participate in downward Nifty movements by buying Put options. On regular trading days it buys an OTM1 Put, and on Nifty expiry day it buys an ITM1 Put. The strategy follows predefined market conditions for identifying bearish opportunities and uses systematic rules for entry, trailing and exit.
The strategy always trades the current weekly expiry. All entry, trailing and exit decisions are generated through our custom-built indicators, hosted on TradingView or our proprietary Python application.
Risk management is built directly into the strategy. Predefined stop-loss criteria based on both premium value and premium percentage are used to establish defined risk-control parameters. These rules are particularly useful in situations where an external alert may be missed. The stop-loss framework and strategy logic have been developed with reference to 5 years of backtested results.
When a signal is generated Set 1 enters and as the market moves in favourable direction, set 2 and set 3 enter as the pre-defined conditions meet. This strategy is intended for traders interested in Nifty bearish options strategy, weekly Put buying strategy, OTM1 and ITM1 Put strategy, intraday directional trading system and automated Tradetron strategy.
