Strategy Overview

This intraday momentum trading strategy uses price action and volume-based indicators to trade Sensex options on 1-minute and 2-minute charts.

Risk Management Rules

1. Fixed Loss Rule: If the total loss in a trading session reaches USD 4 , the strategy will close all existing trade
2. Loss Management Procedure:
   1. if any Technical Glitch is observed Pause the strategy at once.
   2. Manually close any open positions.
   3. Contact the support team for guidance before resuming.

Discipline Guidelines for Algo Trading

1. Initial Paper Trading: Run the strategy in paper mode for at least one week. Do not switch to live until consistent performance is observed.
2. Live Deployment Criteria: Deploy live only after achieving stable, positive results in paper trading.
3. Drawdown Control: Stop trading immediately if losses exceed 4%. Never increase lot size to recover losses.
4. General Discipline: Avoid emotional decision-making. Rely strictly on back testing, real-time data, and maintain regular performance logs.
