Need help on Runtime based strategy

Strategy 1,602 views

Created a strategy with multiple Repair Continuous conditions in two sets. Wanted them to work one after another ie sequentially like S1R1 then S1R2 then S2R3 (similarly S2R1, S2R2 and S1R3). So used Runtime variables to work like switches. If S1R1 executed, variable S1R1 is set to 1 and in S1R2, set the condition S1R1=1. Likewise all. But only one or two Repair Continusous are happening, not all. Runtime data shows variable switching values but next RCs not working. Can someone help?

should the S1R1 “Exit” before S1R2 starts? Are each of these Sets triggering a trade or opening a postition? Need some more info to debug.

Points that usually explain chained Repair Continuous blocks not firing:

  1. Runtime variables are written after that block’s leg is taken. If S1R1 has no order, or its order didn’t fill, the switch isn’t set.
  2. A set with no open position stops checking its repairs and goes back to Entry. If a step closes the set’s whole position, the next repair in that set won’t run. Put the next step in a new set whose entry checks the flag.
  3. Repair Continuous re-fires whenever true. It needs a condition that resets after each fire, e.g. compare against LastRepairedPrice or Net Quantity. Otherwise it can loop and Block the strategy. For one-time steps, use Repair Once.
  4. Use Get Runtime Number for numeric flags, and start them at 1 (a bare 0 reads as false).

Check Runtime Data and the Notification Log at the moment each step should fire.
