How to restrict trade to one per day from my stock list in Tradetron

I want to create a strategy for positional buying only from my stock list. I want when ever the conditions are satisfied, selected stocks from the list will be bought. Tradetron should restrict to buy the stocks only once per day. And wish to ensure that the given stock is traded maximum once per day. How can it be achieved in Tradetron?
Suppose I have 20 stocks in my list. On day one, 5 stocks satisfied the buying condition. I want tradetron should buy all 5 stocks only once on that day.
If the condition get satisfied for the same 5 stocks on the next day, then again these 5 stocks will be bought only once on the next day.
This is how I want to restrict the number of trades per day.
Remember this is a positional trade and there is no exit.

Have you tried Positions detail keyword! positons detail|690x150
Here instead nifty50 put your stock list name

Positions detail will restrict the entry for once. Since my strategy is a positional trade, therefore I want it should restrict to take 1 trade per day.
If you can find out a way to get “Today’s Traded Value” then perhaps my problem will get sort out.

Our docs don’t describe a built-in “once per stock per day” limit for a positional list strategy, so please confirm the best setup with support (chat on tradetron.tech).

What the docs do say:

  • Positions Detail counts all trades in the run, including closed ones, and resets only on a Universal Exit. For a positional strategy that runs for many days, it limits a stock to once per run, not once per day (as you found).
  • Open Positions Detail counts only what is open right now, so it can stop a second buy of a stock that is still held.
  • Initialize Variables can’t be used in list strategies, so a per-stock daily counter can’t be built that way.
  • Custom Python can track per-stock dates with SetVar / GetVar: How to add custom Python code to Strategy | Tradetron Helpdesk

A practical check: if “don’t buy a stock I already hold” is enough, use Open Positions Detail(...,'count') == Number(0) for that stock in the entry. Test in Live Offline.
