Meta Title: TradingView Brokers in India (2026): Trade vs Automate
Meta Description: Which Indian brokers work with TradingView in 2026, the difference between trading from charts and automating alerts, and how to automate on Zerodha, Angel One and more.

Several Indian brokers let you **trade from TradingView charts**: you log in from TradingView's Trading Panel and place orders by hand. Brokers that have offered this include Dhan, Fyers, Alice Blue, Motilal Oswal and Paytm Money, and Angel One joined in July 2026. TradingView's Trading Panel shows the current list. **Automating** TradingView, so that alerts place orders on their own, is a separate question. Only a few brokers offer their own webhook for it. A platform such as Tradetron can automate TradingView alerts on almost any major Indian broker, including Zerodha, which doesn't offer TradingView chart trading at all.

:::takeaways
- Chart trading (clicking Buy on a TradingView chart) and automation (alerts placing orders) are different features. Most "connect TradingView to my broker" guides only cover the first.
- TradingView's Indian broker partners change over time. Angel One was added in July 2026.
- Zerodha isn't a TradingView broker partner. Kite has TradingView charts built in, but trading from them is manual.
- Some brokers, such as Dhan and Fyers, have their own TradingView webhook features. They work with that broker only.
- A platform-based route works across brokers, and keeps the position logic, sizing and exits in one place.

## Chart trading vs automation

| | Chart trading | Automation |
|---|---|---|
| What it means | You place orders by hand from a TradingView chart | A TradingView alert places the order with no one clicking |
| What you need | A broker that's a TradingView partner | A webhook receiver that calls your broker's API from a whitelisted address |
| Who decides the trade | You, each time | Your script's rules |
| Good for | Discretionary traders who like TradingView's charts | Systematic traders with a Pine Script strategy or indicator |

If you trade by hand, the partner list is what matters. If you want a strategy to run on its own, chart trading doesn't help, and the question becomes how alerts reach your broker's API. Since April 2026 that has to happen from a whitelisted address under SEBI's retail algo framework. ## Indian brokers and TradingView, broker by broker

*Partner and webhook details as of October 2026, from TradingView's and the brokers' announcements and user reports. Brokers change these features, so check before you rely on one. "Yes" in the last column means the broker is connected to Tradetron. Tradetron connects most large Indian brokers.*

## Zerodha and TradingView

Zerodha is the broker traders ask about most in this space. It isn't a TradingView broker partner, so you can't log in to Zerodha from tradingview.com. What Zerodha offers instead is TradingView's charting library inside Kite, where you can place orders from the chart by hand. For automation, Zerodha has no TradingView webhook. Alerts can still place Zerodha orders through Kite Connect, either from your own server or through a platform. The no-code setup is in [TradingView to Zerodha auto trading](https://tradetron.tech/blog/tradingview-to-zerodha-auto-trading).

## Angel One and TradingView

Angel One became a TradingView broker partner in July 2026. You can now place stock, ETF, futures and options orders from TradingView's charts after signing in to Angel One from the Trading Panel. That's chart trading. For automated orders from alerts, Angel One's SmartAPI rules from April 2026 apply: a whitelisted primary and secondary IP, and no market or IOC orders for algos. To run TradingView alerts on Angel One through Tradetron, [connect Angel One](https://tradetron.tech/blog/how-to-do-algo-trading-in-angel-one-with-tradetron-step-by-step-guide-2026) and then set up the strategy with PineBridge.

## Dhan and Fyers: broker-native webhooks

Dhan and Fyers both let TradingView alerts reach them directly through their own features. If you trade only with one of them, and your alerts can carry the full order details (symbol, strike, quantity, product), a broker-native webhook is a reasonable choice.

A platform makes more sense when:

- **You trade with more than one broker,** or might switch later.
- **The trade isn't the chart symbol.** For example, a NIFTY chart signal that should buy the ATM call, worked out at the moment of the signal.
- **You want exits and risk handled outside TradingView,** such as an intraday square-off at 15:20, whatever the alerts do.
- **You want to run the strategy forward with no orders** before going live.

## Automating TradingView alerts on any of these brokers with Tradetron

Tradetron's **Pine Script Strategy** builder (PineBridge) takes your Pine Script, strategy or indicator, and turns it into a Tradetron strategy:

:::steps
1. **Connect your broker** under Broker & Exchanges. Guides cover [Zerodha](https://tradetron.tech/blog/how-to-connect-zerodha-with-tradetron-step-by-step-guide-2026), [Angel One](https://tradetron.tech/blog/how-to-do-algo-trading-in-angel-one-with-tradetron-step-by-step-guide-2026), [Dhan](https://tradetron.tech/blog/how-to-connect-dhan-with-tradetron) and [other brokers](https://tradetron.tech/blog/how-to-connect-your-broker-to-tradetron-a-step-by-step-automated-trading-setup-guide).
2. **Paste your Pine Script** into Create → Pine Script Strategy. PineBridge detects whether it's a strategy or an indicator.
3. **Choose what each signal trades:** options, futures or equity, in lots, with an optional square-off time.
4. **Add one alert in TradingView** with the webhook URL and message PineBridge gives you.
5. **Deploy it Live Offline,** then Live Auto on your broker.

The strategy is the same whichever broker you connect, so moving brokers later means changing the broker on the deployment, not rebuilding your setup. :::tradetron One TradingView setup, any broker
Paste your Pine Script, choose what each signal trades and add one alert. Run it Live Offline (live prices, every signal recorded, no order placed), then Live Auto on Zerodha, Angel One, Upstox, Dhan, Fyers or another connected broker.

## Frequently asked questions

### Which Indian brokers are supported on TradingView?

Brokers that have offered chart trading from TradingView include Dhan, Fyers, Alice Blue, Motilal Oswal and Paytm Money, and Angel One joined in July 2026. The list changes, so check TradingView's Trading Panel for the current one.

### Can I connect TradingView to Zerodha?

Not as a TradingView broker partner. Kite has TradingView charts built in for trading by hand. To automate TradingView alerts on Zerodha, use a platform connected through Kite Connect, such as Tradetron.

### Can I connect TradingView to Angel One?

Yes. Since July 2026, Angel One is a TradingView broker partner for trading from charts. For automated trading from alerts, connect Angel One to a platform such as Tradetron, which places orders through SmartAPI.

### What is the difference between trading from TradingView and automating TradingView?

Trading from TradingView means placing orders by hand from the chart through a partner broker. Automating means your alerts place orders with no click, through a webhook that reaches your broker's API from a whitelisted address.

### Which broker is best for TradingView automation?

It depends on whether you'll stay with one broker and how complex your orders are. A broker-native webhook can suit simple orders with a single broker. A platform suits options strategies built off index signals, several brokers, and exits handled outside TradingView.

### Do I need a paid TradingView plan to automate alerts?

Yes. TradingView sends alerts to a webhook URL only on its paid plans, and asks you to turn on two-factor sign-in. Trading from charts through a partner broker isn't the same feature, and has its own conditions.
